Big Mister Doom
I know nothing about electronica. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you the difference between minimal techno and deep house if you put a gun to my head. I do, however, know good music when I hear it, and Leeds glitch crew Big Mr Doom make some very good music indeed. With their debut EP on its way, they were in need of some promo photos, and I was more than happy to oblige.
Dan Taylor Quartet
Jazz, as any reader of this site can attest, isn’t my normal musical subject matter, so this set is quite a break from the norm. The Daniel Taylor Quartet are a Leeds-based group, emerging from the Leeds College of Music in the last few months, and I had the pleasure of taking some promo shots for them at their first public appearance in Leeds town hall.
