Editorial: In Print!

Ted Maul make music that makes you feel like you’ve been thrown in a tumble dryer with an angry hyena. They make very wrong sounds, and on stage, it’s incredible. I caught them at Leeds Rios a few months back, and took a couple of shots.

65daysofstatic

Propelled by mechanical glitches and staccato drums, 65daysofstatic are a mechanical monster of a band. In the flesh, however, their live show is as dramatic and emotive as their records are considered and controlled. I’m delighted to have caught them live a few times in recent years, and I was stoked to be shooting them at their sold-out show at Manchester Academy last November.
