Damnation Festival 2009 was notable for a few reasons, foremost amongst them being the simultaneous reunion show and finale of Brummie grindcore louts Mistress. To no one’s great surprise, their set was utterly incendiary, with a raucous crowd lapping up every minute of it. Mistress came, saw, and demolished.
